There are a few various reasons as to why you may not be able to login.
You are trying to log in with your User and Password from the Old Website. These account did not transfer over. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The old site is still active, and is located here.
You have not yet registered. Register Now
When you registered you registered with a space in your name. Example. Billy Bob. We automatically remove spaces in user names. So your user account is BillyBob. The other error may be that you have cookies disabled. If so please enable them.
Easy just create an account and upload a track into a certain genre. The track will then be automatically included the next time someone generates a playlist in that genre. Songs are chosen randomly from the playlist.
*Note: The flash player sometimes requires that you open and close your browser to get the newest flash data.
The issue with the "chimp" effect is due to the way that the mp3 was originally encoded. Adobe Flash can handle most standard mp3 encoding's with any bitrate. However, some mp3 encoders use "non-standard" encoding techniques that Adobe Flash can not handle... Namely the MP3-PRO encoding scheme.
We recommend using dbPowerAmp to encode MP3 files. It's a small, "right-mouse-click" type utility that makes encoding an MP3 a snap. Using the standard settings in dbPowerAmp should work great at VibeCat.com.
Licensing of files it totally up to you. By default they are not licensed, and you are under no obligation to license your audio.
Just think of it as an added bonus. If you decide you want a little more exposure license a track. It's free under Creative Commons.
